Lin is a self taught artist.  She first started to paint eight years ago, experimenting with watercolour, oils and acrylics.  Five years ago she tried pastels and immediately realised that this was the media for her and hasn’t looked back since.

Having taken early retirement in 2005 and returned to Cornwall, she found she now had the time and the wish to paint seriously.  She walks many miles a week to sketch, gather subject matter and atmosphere, Lin mainly works in her studio where she feels she can best concentrate her mind.
